The First Post

I'm sitting at school, watching my Hawkeye kids finish up an issue. I mean, I'm not watching them literally. Because that would be really, really creepy. I'm working on some stuff... they're working on some stuff. And we are most certainly not watching each other.

Not that it's of any real consequence. In large part the purpose of this post is simply to legitimize the fact that I have created a blog. I'm about three years too late for it to be fashionable, so I suppose it's okay now. (Though, admittedly, I did maintain a LiveJournal for several years during college, but that was really only so that I could keep tabs on a few folks from the UW).
